Heyburnites in the BIG city!

Mom and the girls came to the big city last weekend, and between Eileen and I we tried to show them a good time! The best part was when one of the girls locked the keys in the suburban after they had been here for about an hour. :) That was a little stressful. Thanks to Corey's "mad" skills we were able to fix that. But, the BEST part was that I had my Mom and sisters around for a few days to give me a break and help take care of Addie. I miss you guys already.

 Mom's so cute!

Little Cottonwood Canyon!

Robin and Corey took Layne up to little cottonwood canyon while he was down in the area for a friends wedding and mission reunion. He took lots of pictures, so he is sorry that he is so much like his grandpa Stoker, but thought that he would share the beauty with you all. Robin didn't want any pictures cause she was prego, and for some reason we never got one the group of us.
I think this is the quarry area for where they got the stone for the Salt Lake Temple.

This is near the Tanner Flats area. I thought the retaining wall on then next photo was cool.

We had some bikers pass us. Makes me want one!

Robin and Corey said they want to come here for their anniversary. It's called "The Cliff". It has a pool and grass up on the top of the roof.
This is just a big parking lot up by the Snowbird Ski area for Skiers and Boarders. I thought the colors were beautiful.

All the different ski routes.

Mom, Dad, and Brittanna's trip to see Layne!

Taking a break ...
Thought this one of Mom was funny. She will probably kill me for posting it, but I just happened to snap it right as she was taking off the hat and basking in the sun! lol
 The colors are changing

This picture of Dad is at the head of the spring that comes out of the mountain.

 Brittanna and I!
Crossing the bridge...you could smell the wild mint growing.
Mom has a bunch more pictures on her camera, but I don't have access to them, so I guess she will have to post them.

Vinyard Lake again

Since Kristen has a job, she hadn't been able to go to the lake yet. So Karson set a day with her to go.
Naomi and her friend Carly went too.
They found a waterfall

And of course, went cliff jumping

the videos won't load :-(

Brittana turned 9

Carter's Rap

When we were hanging out on Brittana's birthday, Naomi wrote a rap for Carter:

Watch Mom when they talk about "bustin' mailboxes".

Pictures from Ethan

Here is part of a letter that he sent to us Tolleys:
"I was giving a prayer in Korean in our class right before lunch and I got the testimony form and my prayer mixed up and I accidentally said that 'I know food is true' when I meant to say, 'Please bless the food.' Haha."

Here are some pictures he sent to Mom and what he wrote on the backs of them:
"Me and Elder Forsyth posing. He is the one who had a bad earache the whole time he was here."
"Here are a bunch of elders singing in the bathroom."
"Here is my picture in front of the the [MTC] sign. You'll never guess what's hidden under my bed. J/K They are doing construction to the entrance, so for some reason they took out the signs. If I would have known they were going to take them out I would have made sure to get a picture earlier. Oh well, I guess my sign picture is unique."
"This is our whole zone before the older ones left."
"Elder Sargent drew me one day. I thought it was a pretty good drawing."
"Some elders had some Canada stuff so they gave it to me since I'm going there. (Except the shirt, I bought that at the bookstore.)"

Raindrops on Flowers

At the watchtower on Mt. Harrison. Andersons, the neighbors, were volunteering inside.
As we began our hike by the lake, this chipmunk posed for us.
Dad looking for fish, extra points if you can spot Kristen and Naomi in the bushes
picking up fishing line that people left behind:

hiking with Grandma
Lunch
trying to stay dry
Standing under a tree, out of the rain
When it was done raining, the sun came out again. Naomi took some cool pictures of the flowers.

There are more pictures on the Tolley blog.
